Kaido Ole’s mural titled New Model appeared on the wall of EKKM in 2010 in connection with the Next to Nothing exhibition, and soon a plan was hatched to include the work in the collection. Artist Kaido Ole, understanding his limited choices – to have the work survive it would have to belong to the collection, otherwise it would just be destroyed – agreed to have EKKM store the work of art unconditionally until 7 o’clock on 23 July 2013, when three years will have passed since it was displayed to the public. Thereafter, the agreement will be reviewed and a decision made whether to renew it or not.
